1. What Bachola is

Bachola is a private, invitation-only matchmaking service for Punjabi professionals aged 30 and over. Members join only through a personal invitation from an existing member (a "Bachola"). We are a small, founder-run service — not a traditional dating app.

Bachola operates as a trust network. Every member is connected to every other member through a chain of real-world relationships. We do not show you strangers.

3. No vetting, no warranty

We do not perform background checks, identity verification, or vetting of any kind on members. Profiles are written by the people who use the app. The Bacholeh who introduce members vouch socially, but they are not employees of Bachola and they do not guarantee anything about the people they introduce.

You are solely responsible for doing your own due diligence on anyone you meet through Bachola — including before meeting in person, by phone, or by video. Use the same caution you would use meeting any stranger.

4. No liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bachola, its founders, employees, and the Bacholeh who introduce you accept no liability for the outcome of any introduction, conversation, meeting, or relationship that arises from the service.

The service is provided "as is" and without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that any match will be suitable, or that the service will be available without interruption.

5. Membership and pricing

Bachola offers the following pricing tiers, which are permanently locked at the tier applicable when you signed up:

Bacholeh (introducers) are never charged. Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from Settings inside the app.

By using Bachola, you agree to treat all members with respect. You agree not to:

We may suspend or remove anyone who breaks these rules, with or without notice.

7. Reporting misrepresentation

Bachola depends entirely on honesty. A profile that misrepresents who someone is — their appearance, profession, intentions, or character — harms the trust that holds this network together.

If you believe a member has misrepresented themselves in a material way, you can report them directly from their profile in the app. We will review every report within 5 working days.

Misrepresentation is a violation of these terms and will result in immediate suspension pending investigation. Confirmed misrepresentation results in permanent removal from the network — and the removal of any future members that person has introduced.

We take the same approach with Bacholeh. If a Bachola is found to have knowingly introduced someone who misrepresented themselves, or whose introduction was made in bad faith, that Bachola may also be removed from the network.

8. Cancellation and account deletion

You can cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app. Deleting your account immediately removes you from match candidate pools, ends any active subscription, and schedules deletion of your personal data within 30 days.

We do not offer refunds for the current billing period.

9. Intellectual property

Bachola and its design, software, and branding are owned by Marketing Voice Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without written permission.

By uploading a photo to your profile, you grant Bachola a limited licence to display that photo to members of your trust network within the app. We will not use it for any other purpose.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. If we make a material change, we will notify you inside the app and ask you to re-accept before continuing to use the service. Your continued use after accepting constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
